Live with a welcoming host family who will provide accommodation and all meals in exchange for 15 hours per week of English (or Spanish) instruction, whether formal lessons or casual conversation, tailored to their needs and your strengths.

Teach without being a teacher

To become a Language Assistant with us, you don’t require a degree: you just have to be motivated and curious.

Your students will be your family, so it will not feel like a “real” teaching job with “real” students like how it would be in a school because it is a completely different environment: the lessons can happen in the living room or at the kitchen table and they can be classic ones like grammar or vocabulary for example or by just talking together, you can create oral comprehension lessons. You also can create playful activities or give lessons about fun things : your national sport, traditional food from your country… It will be so fun everyone will lose track of time!

The best thing is that they are eager to study English (or Spanish), and they welcome you because they want to improve their language skills.

Learn by being a teacher
